The subject of cancellations can be almost endless, so we'll leave the subject with a little random selection of various cancellations.

The above two cancels illustrates the two opposite ends of the spectrum. The CDS (Circular Date Stamp) is probably the most attractive cancellation. The second cancel, a "dumb" cancel, although less attractive is equally important in a collection of cancellations.

A collection can also be built up just based on one specific subject (such as the railway related cancellations above), or types (for example the Maltese Cross or "spoons").
