The Millenium Machin was released on the 6th of January 2000, replacing the standard 26p definitive for the whole of the year 2000.

The Questa printings are easilly identified as these use a perforation guage of 13¾x14 whereas both Walsall and De La Rue use 15x14. In addition, there is a lot more corsage at the bottom of the Questa printing.

There are various small distances between Walsall and the other two printers which can be seen in the design of the crown. First, in the Walsall printing the three dots at the back of the crown are far more pronounce. Second, the cross on the crown
